Container Fullness Measuring System |

|
TrashMinder® is
the most advanced system available for measuring and reporting container
fullness. It also controls and reports container usage. Several models are
available, all with special features. Fullness TrashMinder models will send
a signal to a fax, pager or computer when containers are full. From one
computer, TrashMinder can manage up to 4000 compactors (each with a TrashMinder
monitor)! The software generates a range of reports which display compactor
status or usage information. The Usage TrashMinder models allow control
of compactor access. From a computer, accounts can be added or deleted.
On-site, users simply input an ID number or insert a magnetic strip ID card
to access the compactor.

Manager |
 |
The Trash Manager optimizes
compactor performance thereby paying significant dividends to the customer
interested in recycling or offsetting increasing disposal fees. The Trash
Manager System causes the full force of the compactor to be exerted for
up to one minute. Conventional systems use a pressure switch which is activated
by a pressure spike causing the unit to shutdown and signal a full container,
therefore, the refuse is subjected to the true compaction force of the machine
for only a very brief moment. To take full advantage of this method of compaction,
the Trash Manager includes a set of four indicator lights signaling when
the container is approximately 70, 80, 90, and 100% full. To eliminate pressure
spikes, the sensors read the hydraulic "back pressure" exerted
by the compressed refuse against the face of the ram after the ram has ceased
its forward motion. A remote indicator light station is available for installation
in, for example, the manager's office for enhanced cost control.
Available for factory installation only. All remote controls are
contained in NEMA 13 enclosure and connected to power pack with 13' of Sealtite. |
| Full
Container Light |
 |
The Full Container Light
is activated when the normal shutdown pressure has been reached. On
achieving shutdown pressure, the compactor will automatically stop and the
Full Container Light, which is built into the remote push button station,
will turn on. To reactivate the compactor for normal operation, it is necessary
to empty the container and depress the lens cover which deactivates the
Full Container Light circuit. |

The Pressure Gauge is
fluid filled and is furnished with 15' of hydraulic hose so that it can
be mounted adjacent to the packer's push-button control station or mounted
on the power pack if remote pack is selected. It reflects the packer's system
pressure and enables the operator to determine when the container is approaching
its "packed out" state. Also available is a Dual Needle Pressure
Gauge for easier readings. |

The Advanced Control System
- The Mark-Costello Keymaster Meter System provides controlled compactor
use for security and accountability. Compactor can be operated only be means
of individual, bonded keys. Each key activates its own meter which electronically
registers the keyholder's use of compactor. |
